2015 Draw

The 2015 draw was made on Saturday 20th September.

The prelim round on 17th May see Bellsburn (West Lothian) away to Stranraer and West Barnes (East Lothian) away to Carnoustie.

Bonnyrigg (Midlothian) start with a home game against Ellon whilst Edinburgh West End (Edinburgh) are away at Jedburgh in the 1st round to be played on 24th May

Members of Haddington Bowling Club are in celebration mode having signed off their season of competition in the East Lothian Bowling Leagues with a hard fought 47-33 shots victory over Division 4 champions Cockburnspath in the final of the ELBA Courier Cup played at Macmerry BC last Saturday.

The ladies of London Road Foundry

are in celebration mode having signed off their season of competition in the Edinburgh Bowling League with a commanding victory over Parkside in the final of The Edinburgh Cup sponsored by the Gifted Retail Shop of 78 Raeburn Place in the capital. LRF came into the final having already been crowned champions of the League so were fired up by a strong ambition to emulate the inaugural League and Cup double achieved by Hillside last season.

CalumLoganCalum Logan captains Scotland for the third year in a row in the British Isles Junior International series being played in Belfast this weekend and the 25-year old is optimistic about the prospects of a triumphant campaign. The occasion is Logan’s swan song in the Junior grade of the sport and to sign off with a first win under his captaincy would ice the cake of the landmark achievement of him chalking up a record 30 caps.

Inter County Top 5

West Barns B. C. captured the Inter County Top Five Single title at Sighthill BC in Edinburgh last Sunday following a 5-0 points victory over Castle Douglas in the final having edged out the challenge of Edinburgh champions Carrick Knowe in a tense 3-2 affair in the semi-final. The last four encounter against Carrick Knowe was always going to be an enthralling encounter with four current internationalists, two ex-internationalists and also throw in an Edinburgh Champion of Champion runner-up for good measure.
