The ladies of London Road Foundry

are in celebration mode having signed off their season of competition in the Edinburgh Bowling League with a commanding victory over Parkside in the final of The Edinburgh Cup sponsored by the Gifted Retail Shop of 78 Raeburn Place in the capital. LRF came into the final having already been crowned champions of the League so were fired up by a strong ambition to emulate the inaugural League and Cup double achieved by Hillside last season.

EBL Knockout Finals

Willowbrae captured two title’s in the finals of the ABT Machine Tools sponsored Knockout Championships of The Edinburgh Bowling League played at Parkside, the first of which was landed by teenager Paul Archibald in the Junior Singles. It was a first title success for Willowbrae in the Junior Singles and the first major triumph for 17-year old Archibald who is a pupil at Holyrood High School.
