East Lothian IBC star Emma Brown is already a major figure in the sport with 12 full caps to her credit and the pride of the ‘Garden County’ was in great form again last Sunday having qualified through to the last four of the national ladies junior singles.

The East Lothian star pairing of Alex Marshall MBE and Derek Oliver were last weekend part of a Scotland gent’s side that retained the Co-operative Funeralcare Test Match following a 6-5 point’s win over England at Stanley IBC in County Durham.

East Lothian IBC’s rising star Calvert Allison was in international action for Scotland last weekend as he played second in the fours and lead in the pairs in the British Isles Under 18 Mixed Championships played at Abbeyview IBC in Dunfermline.

East Lothian IBC gents singles champion Billy Mellors booked his place in the field for January’s National Indoor Singles gala finals after coming through last weekend’s playdown action at East Kilbride IBC.
