West Lothian IBC champions Richard Mark and Mark Allison carried the banner into the glamour stage of the Scottish 4 Bowl Pairs Championship having reeled off a an excellent hat trick of wins in the playdown action staged over last weekend at Dalkeith and Tranent.
West Lothian IBC are not out of the running but the three-in-a-row defending champions of the indoor bowls Premier League have surrendered the qualifying initiative in the A section to Blantyre following a surprise defeat at home to their chief rivals.
The Bainfield team has an exciting new look about them for tomorrows home match against Midlothian at the Hutchison Crossway Stadium with icon figure Robert Marshall and other major talents in the shape of Chris Downie, John McDermott, and Gavin Smith returning to the line up.
