Seven of 2017 Ten are current members of the Edinburgh & Leith team contesting The Hamilton Trophy and that doesn’t include former Scotland captain, and commonwealth games internationalist, Colin Mitchell. Mitchell is also joined as one of the other three by a national fours champion in Graham Pringle, and the vastly experienced and much revered E&L legend, Alan Poole.
Richard Tough comes back into the picture for the Final Day assault and heads up the Carrick Knowe attack as the spearhead figure in the Singles for the semi final battle against Renfrewshire champions, Wellington Park.
Mitchell skips Kevin Tennant in the Pairs while Alan Poole, Graham Pringle, and James Hogg for the Triple. Darren Hush skips Stephen Pringle, John Priestley, and Paul ODonnell in the Fours.
