Wins on the rinks skipped by Mark Allison, James Speirs, Neil Speirs, and Craig Moss reflecting a strong and pleasing team effort united by the cause of capturing a place in the playoff-final. Allison opened 3, 3 then from 7-3 after five ends inspired the team effort across the carpet with a purple patch run of 2, 4, 2, 1 to skip Blair Mackie, Raymond Logan, and Cameron Greer into a 16-3 lead.

James Speirs hit the lids in lightning fashion to race into a 12-1 lead then traded well on that 11 shot margin to skip Richard Mark, Jim Speirs (father), and Gary Orr to a 28-18 win over Graeme Gwynne. Neil Speirs came close to matching the winning margin of his brother and included two mighty counts of 5 as he skipped Connor McKendrick, Ian Drysdale (cpt), and Bryan Cooper to a 24-15 triumph over Samuel O’Donnell. Moss looked set for a comfortable win when skipping Nathan McKendrick, George Sneddon, and Jamie Aitken into a 13-6 lead after 13 ends but became harder pressed before crossing the line with an 18-15 success over Jonathan Ross.
