It is with great sadness that I have to write this.
On the 8th September Willie Robb, Past President of Edinburgh & Leith BA lost his battle with cancer.
Many of you may not have known who was behind Scotlawn Bowls, but Willie took on this mantle many years back and has provided us all with the news from around the Lothians with the help of good friend Stewart Meikle.
The passion that Willie had for making the news, updates and scores available to all was second to none. Giving bowls the digital platform that was needed, the speed at which this was delivered I am sure you will agree was fantastic.
Another one of our bowling friends taken too early, I am sure I speak for all of us whilst we give thought to a great man and send our sympathies to his family and friends at this difficult time.
