Moss faced icon figure George Sneddon in the final at the Inveralmond Stadium and having added a full-house count of 4 to power into a 12-4 lead maintained his supremacy to score a commanding 21-7 victory.
Nathan McKendrick produced a dynamic display in the Under 25 Junior Singles final and reigns supreme after his 21-8 victory put Darren Pearce to the sword in 17-ends.
Jenifer Richardson dictated the pace strongly to bring Lisa Barrett under 15-5 pressure in the final of the Ladies Singles and stormed to a 21-11 win in 19-ends.
The opening play in the Alpha Trophies Edinburgh Bowling League on Wednesday night coming signals the much awaited arrival in the top flight Division 1 of former Water of Leith giants Carrick Knowe.
Carrick Knowe as all WOL transfer clubs were forced to start of life in the lowest Division, 5, and have made annual progress towards the top, mostly impressive but causing some doubt on oaccasions with puzzling away failures. It is widely expected that the star studded Division1 debutants will present an instant danger to 10 times champions, and holders, Craigentinny making it 11 this season so their will be intense interest in whether Carrick Knowe can pass a difficult opening test away to Maitland.
